Plan Description
Each section of this beautiful fence can be lifted out and put back in place anytime, making fence and yard maintenance a breeze. The pickets are nailed to 2 x 4 stringers that rest on "saddles" (notched blocks) mounted on the posts. Beaded moldings on the front faces of the pickets camouflage the stringers and overlap the saddles. The moldings are screwed on and are removable for painting. The fence is made of western red cedar, so each section is light enough to be handled by one person. That makes it possible to do all trimming with a mower.
Each plan contains: a photo of the project, a complete list of materials needed to get you started, detailed construction drawings, full-size patterns (where appropriate), and clearly written instructions to take you step by step through the project.
